RUBY CRAWLER RING

The art deco ladybug ring is inspired by the Asian ladybug which was introduced in Europe as a biological control agent against aphids.

However, this invasive species poses a threat to the native ladybugs.

Beyond closer observation, you notice a ladybug carefully crawling on a plant stem.

The 18K yellow gold holds a round faceted ruby. 

Underneath the ladybug, represented by a small oval-cut cabochon emerald, a small aphid is hiding from this predator.
